JBR is one of the most popular and sought-after residential communities in Dubai as the premium waterfront district is located along the coast of the Arabian Gulf in Dubai Marina. The area is home to several of the city’s famous landmarks, including The Beach and The Walk. The master developer of Jumeirah Beach Residence is Dubai Properties, which is part of the government owned Dubai Holding, famous for many unique projects in Dubai. The development of JBR was launched back in 2002 and was officially opened to the public in 2008. The total cost of the project amounts to AED 6B (USD 1.6B) and the total area of the development is 18,298,647 sq. ft. The London-based Mace Group was appointed as the management company of the project, where they ensured premium quality construction by bringing in a 95% foreign workforce to the site, used a professional services team from five different continents, as well as importing 80% of building materials from abroad. The architect of the project was Arif & Bintoak, which are well-known for their architecture design of many residential and commercial projects around Dubai.

This community comprises more than 40 hotel and residential towers, each up to a maximum 46 storeys high. JBR has a total of 6 residential blocks called: Murjan, Sadaf, Bahar, Rimal, Amwaj and Shams. Currently, there are around 7,000 residential units, making it possible to accommodate 15,000 people. The whole development has broken at least two world records by being the largest residential quarter in the world and the largest single-phased, mixed-use development of its kind, ever created. JBR offers a wide range of residential units, such as studios, 1, 2 and 4-bedroom apartments, and penthouses available for sale and to rent. Due to the beach lifestyle and its wide variety of retail stores, restaurants and cafes, JBR is very popular among young families and single people.

One JBR is a 46 storey residential skyscraper located in Jumeirah Beach Residence, in the JBR., and the only residential development in the area with direct beach access and its own dedicated roundabout with access to the Sheikh Zayed Road. The One JBR building is located between the Ritz Carlton and Le Royal Meridien hotels.

The project was launched by Dubai Properties Group back in 2015 and was completed in 2020. The complex offers luxury 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom apartments and penthouses with large panoramic windows and spacious balconies for sale.
